A high quality service

Ecole du Ski français d'Argentière: Démarche qualité

A high quality service :
The reception : a secure on-line payment system allows you to arrive in the resort, your ski lessons already arranged and paid for. We work with the Chamonix tourist office to offer you a whole package ; all aspects of your holiday taken care of. We are always happy to welcome you to any of our offices and deal with your enquiries every day throughout the season. The école de ski Argentière is pleased to offer you a whole range of classes and disciplines..

Group lessons :
Our childrens’ groups are made up of 10 children per class, with 8 per class in the adult groups. (Class sizes may be +/- 2 due to people signing up at the last minute, or going up/down a level). These group sizes ensure a high standard of teaching with the école de ski Argentière. We are also happy to offer our clientèle a whole days skiing, including a children’s meal. These meals are in good quality reastaurants and can be arranged just for a day or for the whole week. This service means you can make the most of your week and pack in as many activities as you would like..

Private lessons :
these are a minimum of one hour long. Our instructors can arrange your transport if necessary. Whenever possible, we will arrange for you to be taught by an instructor who speaks your language, enabling you to really get the most out of your lesson.

Necessary precautions :
All the école de ski Argentière ski lessons take place on slopes suited to the client’s needs and abilities. Whatever your age, experience or level we will find the right slopes for you. Occasionally, because of the weather, we may reduce the number of people in a group, to guarantee you the best possible lesson.

A few rules for skiers and our clientèle :
To ensure everything runs smoothly at the E.S.F, there are a few rules we’d like to draw your attention to :

  • Lessons are arranged in advance at pre-arranged times, to keep everyone happy, it’s important to stick to your time.
  • Have your card or ticket on you before arriving for your group or private lesson.
  • Have your ski pass on you ; being part of a ski group does not give you access to the ski lifts , with the exception of children’s lessons in the jardins d’enfants.
  • The instructor must still be paid for any lessons that have not been cancelled at least the day before they are due to take place.
  • Only tickets showing the date and day of the week will be accepted by our instructors.
  • The E.S.F. is not responsible for any damage to a pupils’ possessions or personal injury.
  • Erratic weather conditions, the ski lifts breaking down or being delayed or other unforeseeable circumstances cannot be blamed on the instructors.
  • Our pupils are not insured by the E.S.F., we strongly advise you to purchase a CARTE NEIGE or the CARRE NEIGE ( this can be done when your buy your lift pass).
  • Being supervised by an instructor does not mean that you should not be paying attention to your safety and that of others.
