Special events at the ESF
The école de ski Argentière regularly organises special events for our clients. During the Christmas and February half-term holidays, there are a range of activities for adults and children.

Christmas Holidays :
Sunday 24th December 2007 at 17h30 : Father Christmas’s torchlight procession. Leave from the Chosalets draglift, arrive infront of the Argentière town hall at 18h. Sweets, hot chocolate and music for all!
Sunday 31st December 2007 at 17h30 : torchlight descent with ESF Argentière instructors and clients. Arrive infront of the Argentière town hall at 18h.Apéritifs and music.

Talents Aiguilles :
12 & 13 january 2008
The Talents Aiguilles : Over the course of this popular weekend, it is ladies first ! A range of events to entice and delight you. On the menu : skiing, of course ! A very special opportunity to try out SALOMON’s range of skis, designed for women, with expert help available. This is free of charge, along with your lift-pass for the weekend. Register at www.salomonwomenwill.com . After a great days’ skiing, spare some time for some shopping, there may be some surprises in store for you. In the evening, there is a concert at the Chamonix ice rink, with free entry to women, of course. This winter, you’ll have the chance to catch Tété and Jehro.

February holidays :
Tuesday 19th February 2008 at 18h : torchlight descent with ESF Argentière instructors. Leave from the middle station of Lognan les Grands Montets, arrive in front of the Argentière town hall . Mulled wine, hot chocolate and music.

Tuesday 26th February 2008 at 18h15 : torchlight descent with ESF Argentière instructors. Leave from the middle station of Lognan les Grands Montets, arrive in front of the Argentière town hall . Mulled wine, hot chocolate and music.

Thursday 6th March 2008 at 20h00 : Right in the heart of Argentière, in an area called "Les Biens", watch cross country skiers compete for the Coupe Gloria : a big cross country ski race with 3-man teams competing against eachother.

Children’s torchlight descents.
Open to all children who have achieved their 1st star, or higher. Leave at 18h infront of the ESF office at Lognan les Grands Montets, follow a route through the jardin d’enfants des Piou Piou, cross the forest (la moraine) then arrive at the Chosalets drag lift. Hot chocolate . Inscriptions 2 €.
