For those children who are strong skiers, we offer special race training lessons during the school holidays :

For children aged 7 to 11 :
We offer an introduction to race training at the domaine de Balme ski area. These lessons, lasting 4h30, focus on technique and work towards the Flèche and the Chamois awards as the week progresses. Once your child has gained their gold star, these lessons are ideal for those who really want to perfect their core skills.
Booking :

For 9 to 13 year olds :
Having gained your Fléchette or bronze Flèche, you can improve your slalom and giant slalom technique and practice skiing on all types of terrain, with different snow conditions. These whole day lessons, lasting 7 hours, with a lunch break ( lunch is not included and each student needs to bring lunch money/packed lunch) allow your child to ski a variety of different pistes and aim for the relevant ESF tests.

For 13 to 18 year olds :
Having gained a flèche d’argent, you can progress to the next level. These lessons are enjoyable, educational and technical and work towards the Flèche and the Chamois awards. During these lessons, you’ll learn a great deal about the mountain environment and mountain safety. You will learn to use an ARVA (Appareil de Recherche de Victimes d’Avalanches - device used to find avalanche victims) as well as other things which will benefit keen skiers. During the Easter holidays, you will also have an introduction to ski touring, with a night in a refuge if the conditions are suitable.
