Group lessons :
Group lessons are an excellent way to learn to ski or improve your skiing . Even if they don’t offer quite the same levels of one-to-one tuition as private lessons, they are still great fun and great value for money. Being part of a group really helps children to get to grips with their skiing.
We offer group lessons for alpine skiing, Nordic skiing and snowboarding, meaning there is something for everyone.
Our childrens’ groups consist of 10 children per class, with 8 per class in the adult groups. (Class sizes may be +/- 2 due to people signing up at the last minute, or going up/down a level). These group sizes ensure a high standard of teaching with the école de ski Argentière. These group lessons take place at fixed times ; during the season there are two timetables for group lessons.
The cost of group lessons does not go up during the school holidays.
These group lessons take place at the Lognan les Grands Montets ski area and at the Domaine de Balme.
During the Christmas and half-term holidays, group lessons are available from Monday to Friday, both in the morning and afternoon at the two ski areas.
For the rest of the season, group lessons generally take place in the morning at the Lognan les Grands Montets ski area, and in the afternoon at the Domaine de Balme. Depending on the weather or the snow conditions, this could be subject to change. We’ll keep you informed once you arrive at the resort.
Most group lessons are in French ; however we have a large number of foreign clients and will aim to give you an instructor who speaks your language if possible . If you are part of a group with different nationalities, your instuctor will teach in two languages, to keep as many people as possible happy !
Booking :

During busy periods, there are a limited number of places available in groups as we keep our group sizes small to ensure quality teaching. We strongly advise you to book you group lessons in advance.
